DONEXIT S.r.l. is an Italian IT company working in the field of technologies for the Defense and for the protection of complex critical infrastructures. DONEXIT and the University of Sannio are currently involved in the project zSpectrum – Compressed Spectrum for Radio Monitoring and Emission Localization, funded by the Italian Ministry for Defense under the framework of the National Programme for Military Research (Piano Nazionale per la Ricerca Militare), PNRM n. a2018.008. The total cost of the first phase of the project was € 1.007.557,20, with a 50% co-funding. The project has finished the phase I in Dec. 2020, which is currently under evaluation. If approved, phase II will have a total cost of € 1.222.862,40. The project objective is to develop a system composed by several receiver nodes, for the detection and localization of non-cooperative radio emitters.
DONEXIT is also working on the use of Unmanned Aerial Systems for applications of surveillance and precision agriculture. In this field, DONEXIT and the University of Sannio have recently submitted a proposal for a research Grant to the Italian Ministry for Research for the funding of a PhD position. The proposal is currently under evaluation. DONEXIT is interested in the technologies developed in the framework of the IRIS project as they can then implement an integrated solution based on the developed technologies.
