Se.Te.L. S.r.l. is an Italian company working on complex systems for Aerospace and Defense. In the past Se.Te.L. has participated in the EDICALS (Continuous Acquisition and Life Cycle Support) initiative, whose objectives were close to those of the IRIS project with emphasis on the measurement data needed for Lifecycle management. The Se.Te.L. R&D has developed an amphibious rover for hosting sensors in mixed (earth and water) environments. Possible applications can be the survey of bridge pillars or harbour infrastructures. The rover can also host a computing engine for onboard processing.
Se.Te.L. makes this rover available for the deployment of the IRIS project. It can be integrated with an underwater LIDAR to perform surveys of underwater structures.
